Carol Savio and Tom Johnston are the founding directors of SJS and are involved in all projects undertaken by SJS to ensure professional delivery, which is on time and within budget.

Profiles

Carol Savio

Carol has had 31 years’ experience in the Sub Saharan Oil Industry. She was responsible for Supply and Supply Operations for BP in Sub Saharan Africa. Carol also held the position of Overland Trader as well as Supply and Trading Strategic Implementation Manager. Since founding SJS Energy in 2009 Carol has provided consulting services to a number of the major oil companies in Southern Africa, Oil Companies and Ministry of Energy in Neighboring Countries, as well as to a Major International Oil Company, a Blue Chip Logistics Company in South African and the South African Petroleum Industry Association.

Tom Johnston

Tom has had 38 years’ experience in the Sub Saharan Oil Industry. He was responsible for the Logistics Operations for BP in Sub Saharan Africa. He has provided Strategic and Operational Consulting Services to a number of the Major Oil Companies in Southern Africa, as well as to the South African Department of Energy and the South African Petroleum Industry Association. Tom has delivered Strategic Projects within South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Eswatini.
